Calculate Cutting Data with SmiCalc

SmiCalc is SmiCut’s tool for calculating cutting data for tapping, thread turning, milling, and drilling. The tool provides recommended values for cutting speed, feed rate, spindle speed, and other machining parameters based on tool type, material, and application.

Use the material selector to identify the correct material category. Enter a material grade or designation and the tool will analyze material specifications and match the material to the correct SmiCut category. You will also receive an explanation of how the material was classified. The identified material category can also be used to select cutting data in SmiCut’s catalogue or in SmiProg for thread milling.

Security Notice: This tool is intended as a guide, and recommended values should be verified before use. SmiCut is not responsible for how these recommendations are applied in your machining process. If you are unsure about the recommended cutting data, please contact us at info@smicut.se.
